Responsibilities Job Summary As a member of the Data Management team, the Data Architect I designs and builds Enterprise Data Warehousing (EDW) solutions for data storage and processing. In addition, the Data Architect I analyzes data, performs Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) source to target mapping operations, develops data models, interacts with staff and participates in on-call rotations facilitating off-hour work functions in support of incidents, upgrades, patches and project task fulfillment. Design, development, and deployment of the Enterprise Data Warehousing (EDW) solutions, database tables, views, stored procedures, data marts that store data from various source systems and ties those together. Develops reusable data source queries that meet project requirements and organizational design standards. Communicates, prioritizes and responds promptly based on severity levels to needs of the customer. Proactively or timely recognizes opportunities for service recovery and acts to resolve issues. Implements various data design methodologies including Late-Binding, Star and Snowflake schema. Models data from source systems and design ETL to bring data into the Data Warehouse. Creates Metrics, Patient Registries and Predictive Models to be applied to the Data Warehouse data per clinical and business rules. Develops strategies for warehouse implementation, data acquisition, and archive recovery. Cleans and maintains the database by removing and deleting old data. Evaluates new data sources for adherence to the organization's quality standards and ease of integration. Reviews data loaded into the data warehouse for data completeness and accuracy. Assists in the troubleshooting of existing data warehouse applications. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education Associate's Degree or 2 years' work related experience in Information Systems, Finance, a licensed Clinical discipline, a related discipline Required Experience 1 year experience in Healthcare, IT or Financial sectors. Required 1 year experience in data modeling, ETL development or data warehouse design. Required 1 year experience in SQL query development. Required
