Pearson is seeking an experienced **Sr. Product Manager** to join the Learning Tools team. This pivotal role involves leading the product strategy for a small list of applications, aligning strategies for those applications across various discipline-oriented commercial teams, and delivering cutting-edge technology solutions that create lasting value for learners and educators.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ **Strategy Development:** Design and implement a forward-looking strategy that aligns assigned application to Higher Education’s larger mission and goals. Translate strategic vision into actionable product roadmaps and milestones.
+ **Product Execution:** Oversee assigned product roadmaps, innovation design, and customer feedback forums. Define and monitor success metrics such as utilization, satisfaction, and ROI.
+ **Collaboration:** Partner with cross-functional teams, including Technology, Commerical, UX, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success, to ensure timely delivery of products that exceed customer expectations.
+ **Customer Value:** Stay informed on market trends and emerging technologies to create differentiated experiences that delight customers and maintain a competitive edge.
+ **Data Driven Decision Making:** Utilize product data and analytics to prioritize high-impact features, as well as to measure success using data-driven methods.
+ **Dedication to the End-to-End Experience.** Develop expertise in not only the assigned applications, but also in how they work for both internal (content producing) and external (instructor and student) stakeholders as well as how assigned applications fit (or could fit) within the larger Pearson ecosystem.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent (advanced degree preferred)
+ Minimum of 5 years agile software product management experience, experience within the ed tech space preferred
+ Proficiency in user-centered design principles and collaboration with UX teams.
+ Strong data analysis skills for informed decision-making.
+ Exceptional communication skills for presenting to stakeholders.
+ Technical understanding to liaise effectively with engineering teams.
+ Embrace diversity and inclusion across backgrounds and experiences.
+ Willingness to accept meetings within the India Standard Time Zone when needed.
+ Prior eLearning experience is a strong plus.
+ Familiarity with negotiating SAAS agreements and integrating 3rd party technology is also a strong plus.
Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the California, Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, New York State, New York City, Washington State, and Washington DC laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:
The minimum full-time salary range is between $95,000 - $100,000.
