Honeywell is seeking a Lead SCADA Engineer for our Alburquerque, NM location. We will also consider applications in Broomfield, CO, and Golden Valley, MN.
This position is in-office Monday through Friday and is not expected to require consistent overtime, weekend, or on-call work. Travel is expected to be 10%, but the work will be primarily focused in your local office.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Applying knowledge of control software, hardware, process, and systems product life cycle development.
+ Building and connecting Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems in collaboration with IT staff.
+ Designing user-friendly and accessible graphical user interfaces for operators to interact with complex process equipment.
+ Implementing and configuring communications networks to interconnect industrial instrumentation and control equipment.
+ Developing database systems to reliably store and archive operational data from industrial machines.
+ Collaborating with internal and external customers to develop systems that meet user requirements.

Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.
YOU MUST HAVE
+ Bachelor’s degree in computer or electrical engineering, or other related engineering field.
+ Minimum 8 years of Process, Controls, Software, Systems Engineering, or Information Technology work experience.
+ U.S. citizenship is required due to contractual requirements. Applicants must also be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance. Continued employment is contingent upon successful completion of security processing.
WE VALUE
+ Master’s degree in computer or electrical engineering, or other related engineering field.
+ Knowledge of secure development lifecycle and implementation of cyber security best practices.
+ Knowledge of Ethernet communications networks and protocols; including OPC-UA, MQTT, Modbus/TCP, Profinet, or Ethernet/IP.
+ Experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) such as Honeywell Experion, Emerson DeltaV, Simatic PCS, ABB System 800Xa, or Allen-Bradley PlantPAx.
+ Strong troubleshooting skillset, capable of debugging complex systems and problems in a leadership role.
+ Experience in high-reliability distributed process control applications in oil & gas or chemical processing fields, such as LNG/LPG liquefaction.
+ Experience with cryogenic processing equipment; including pumps, valves, sensors, and other instrumentation operating in low temperature regimes.
The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado is $132,000-149,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. This position is incentive plan eligible.
