**Unit Support Tech - Surgery**
**St. John's Regional Medical Center**
St. John's Regional Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated and skilled **Unit Support Tech** to join our growing team. The **Unit Support Tech** will play a vital role in our nursing team.
**Responsibilities**
+ You will provide essential support by performing tasks such as cleaning and disinfecting OR rooms.
+ Restocking medical supplies.
+ Assisting with patient transport (wheelchair and bed transfers)
+ Collaborating with nurses to ensure a smooth and efficient patient flow.
+ A positive attitude and strong teamwork skills are essential.
**Qualifications**
+ 6 months of recent experience in a hospital setting as an EVS, and or Transporting
+ Previous experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Setting
+ Previous experience in EVS Effective verbal and written communication skills.
+ Maintains effective working relationships with co-workers and medical staff.
+ Relates with patients/visitors empathetically and tactfully.
+ Reacts calmly and effectively in emergencies.
+ Demonstrates working knowledge of hospital safety policies and health standards.
+ Ability to follow written and oral instructions in exact detail.
+ Current CPR certification is required.

**Pay Range**
$24.09 - $30.26 /hour
