Northrop Grumman is seeking an **Associate Budget Analyst / Budget Analyst** . This position will be located at our Aeronautics Systems sector in Redondo Beach, CA or El Segundo, CA.

The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Business Management Unit.

**Roles and Responsibilities:**

Compiles and reviews budgets for corporate or organizational units using actual performance, previous budget figures, estimated revenue, expense reports, and other data sources to control funds and provide for proper financial administration. Prepares financial plans, monitors implementation of financial policies, prepares regular and special-purpose reports, maintains historical records, analyzes trends, establishes cost rates and personnel forecasts, recommends and interprets budgetary policies and procedures, prepares comparative evaluation of actual costs against budgeted funds, and determines rationale for variances between costs and budget.

This requisition may be filled at either an **Associate Budget Analyst (A01) or Budget Analyst (A02).**

Basic Qualifications for an **Associate** **Budget Analyst (** **A01):**

A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

+ Be completing or has completed their Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

+ Be majoring in or having majored in a Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.

+ Final approved U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special Access may be required to start.

Basic Qualifications for an **Budget Analyst​ (** **A02):**

A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

+ Be completing or has completed their Master’s degree from an accredited institution or is completing their Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and 2 years of direct experience.

+ Be majoring in or having majored in a Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.

+ Final approved U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special Access may be required to start.

​ Preferred Qualifications for both an **Associate Budget Analyst / Budget Analyst:**

+ Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher

+ Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership & teamwork, capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular).

**Pay Range**

+ Associate Budget Analyst: $54,200.00 – 81,200.00

+ Budget Analyst: $65,600.00 – $98,400.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
