**Boeing Defense, Space & Security** has an exciting opportunity **for** an **NDT Quality Test** **Specialist (Experienced, Senior or Lead) - Radiography** to join the Phantom Works Quality team in **Mesa, AZ** .
This position will be working in a dynamic team supportive team within a shop floor environment using automated and traditional systems, evaluating collected data, making accept/reject decisions. Ideal candidates will have the ability to interpret blueprint requirements and have the capability of supporting and/or developing inspection procedures. Successful candidates will have experience in NAS410 standard, be an effective communicator, and be able to work across multiple diverse functions, including partnering with engineering teams.
This position requires a minimum of a ASNT Level II NDT certification in Ultrasonic (UT) with preference given to candidates holding a currently ASNT Level III UT certification.

**Position Responsibilities:**
Level 3:
+ Performs setup for specialized non-destructive test or measurement equipment.
+ Develops procedures and processes.
+ Performs tests or inspections and collects data.
+ Documents, analyzes and communicates results and assists with corrective action recommendations.
+ Provides feedback on adverse trends.
+ Responsible for non-destructive testing and acceptance of repairs to company products.
+ Conducts certification preparation training.
**Level 4:**
+ Guides the development or improvement of non-destructive inspection or test techniques.
+ Develops, deploys and implements tests or inspections and data collection techniques utilizing evolving technology.
+ Develops program specific non-destructive testing documents.
+ Develops and implements processes and procedures for new or revised non-destructive testing methods.
+ Audits, validates and approves systems and techniques of suppliers and processors.
+ Develops certification training and examinations.
Level 5:
+ Advises on advanced technology in non-destructive instrumentation and inspection principles, processes and techniques.
+ Guides implementation of advanced inspection or test techniques.
+ Develops innovative test processes and equipment.
+ Consults suppliers and customers to resolve technical issues involving tests, processes and equipment.
+ Develops principles and methods for analyzing test, inspection or statistical data.
+ Consults on corrective action to resolve process or product anomalies.
+ Participates on enterprise and industry teams to influence the standardization and regulation of training and certification requirements **.**
**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):**
+ Minimum required formal education in Nondestructive Testing (NDT) for a Certified Level 2 per NAS410 in Radiographic Inspection
+ 1+ year of experience in NDT Quality Testing
+ 3+ year of experience interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
**Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):**
+ **Level 4:** 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
+ **Level 5** : 10 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
+ Level 3 NDT Certification in Radiographic (RT)
+ 5 or more years of experience inspecting parts, components, assemblies, or units.
+ 5 or more years of experience writing NDT procedures and techniques.
+ 5 or more years of experience interpreting technical engineering requirements
+ Experience leading teams
+ Aerospace industry experience
+ Experience coaching NDT technicians
+ Experience working with AS9100 and/or similar QMS standard
**Typical Education & Experience:**
**Level 3:**
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.). Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+4 years' related work experience, 8 years' related work experience, etc.).
**Level 4:**
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+7 years' related work experience, 11 years' related work experience, etc.
**Level 5:**
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range for experienced level (Level 3): USD 75,900 – 96,600
Summary pay range for senior (Level 4): USD 89,100 – 113,400
Summary pay range for Lead (Level 5): USD 102,300 – 130,200
