Honeywell Anthem is breaking new ground in Avionics design and the pilot-machine interface, with the goal of making pilots’ jobs easier and safer and essentially allowing pilots to configure their own cockpit based on mission and phase of flight. With Honeywell Anthem, pilots can quickly and easily position the primary flight display, navigation maps, charts, radio controls and other information and tools anywhere they want on any display.

Join our (NGA) Next Generation Avionics team that designs, develops and integrates highly complex systems and cutting-edge avionics technologies within our Sensors/Navigation. You will play a crucial role in the development, systems integration, and verification of core Aircraft State Sensor selection and Navigation computations to be hosted on the Next Generation Avionics Platform.

Key Responsibilities

Your expertise in avionics engineering, FMS and/or navigation systems will contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies that enhance the safety, efficiency, and performance of aircraft systems.

+ Drive the design and development of advanced avionics systems

+ Integrated Avionics (IMA) systems/software development and integration

+ Integrated Avionics (IMA) systems/software validation & verification

+ Key Program Indicators (KPI) validation

+ Requirements analysis and decomposition

+ Model based development system design

+ Integration Testing

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization

YOU MUST HAVE

+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics

+ 6+ years of experience in Avionics Systems Engineering and integration.

WE VALUE

+ Individuals that quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts

+ Experience with Advanced Avionics systems and technologies (i.e FMS, Navigation, Sensors, etc)

+ Experience with Simulink or similar model-based design tools

+ Experience with IMA IO and IO Scheduling Tools (ESCAPE, PCT, HARMONIC)

+ Familiarity with the NGA System Architecture
