**Position-Related Responsibilities**

+ Designs, develops, troubleshoots, supports, and configures information systems to support business processes across multiple departments and business units.

+ Develops designs, program specifications, data access, output reports, and input specifications. Assures that the design, programming, testing and documentation for assigned systems are correct, complete and up-to-date.

+ Designs, develops, troubleshoots, and maintains software interfaces to enterprise systems using approved SOA middle-tier tools as defined in the IT corporate standards.

+ Reviews work requests from clients and develops estimates for work to be performed based on industry standard estimation methodology.

+ Gathers business requirements and recommends solutions to clients for the improvement of existing or proposed systems to enhance the functionality being delivered.

_Programmer Analyst III:_

_Level I_

Minimum Qualifications:

+ High School Diploma or GED.

+ Minimum 2 years programming experience or a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related disciplines.

**ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT & ROLE:**

If your niche is in financial reporting and analysis, underwriting, cash management or audit, our Finance department may be a perfect fit for you. Our teams within Finance work together to ensure that spending stays on track and that we remain a profitable industry leader. We’re always on the lookout for innovative people who will bring outside-the-box thinking to our team. This role supports various areas of Express Scripts by developing, maintaining, and enhancing models used in the underwriting process. These models are primarily Excel-based tools that interact with a number of other applications (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, Hadoop, Python).

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**

+ Work on enhancement requests and complete all stages of the life cycle (e.g. design, development, testing, release)

+ Work with Underwriting, Supply Chain, Budget, and other Finance departments to identify opportunities for model enhancements in an effort to improve the accuracy of Express Scripts’ profitability forecasting and user experience

+ Perform extensive testing prior to releasing new functionality into production. This testing includes code review, UAT, and Regression testing

+ Provide support to our end-users by resolving their issues, responding to queries, and helping them analyze/interpret the results from the models

+ Develop an expert knowledge of the primary tools & applications used within the FMA team

+ Provide training to the pricing group around SOPs and best-practices for using the FMA’s tools and applications

**QUALIFICATIONS:**

+ Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and VBA development

+ SQL and experience with relational databases (Oracle, TD, PostgreSQL and Hadoop preferred)

+ Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience

+ 4+ years of relevant experience; Finance, Underwriting, Pricing, Analytics, or similar field preferred

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 98,200 - 163,600 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

Based in Pasadena TX, You will be responsible for manufacturing proprietary machined valve components used in a variety of industries, such O&G, petro-chem, power and even aviation/aerospace. With your CNC programming/machining skills, you will be producing both internal and external new valve parts to very close tolerances from a variety of material types (carbon steel, 300/400 series SS, high-nickel alloys, etc.) using CNC lathes and CNC mills.

In addition to machining new valve parts, you will also be an integral contributor to our professional service team, which is responsible for making repairs to existing valves and valve components.

**In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**

+ Be responsible for personal safety and for the safety of others. Must maintain excellent housekeeping standards.

+ Set-up, indicate, and machine raw material (bar stock, forgings, and castings) to manufacture Fisher parts to OEM print dimensions.

+ Develop and edit CNC programs using G-code and other programming languages.

+ Verify program accuracy and troubleshoot any programming issues.

+ Cross-train on all machines to prevent lapse in production flow including but not limited to engine lathes, manual drills, horizontal bandsaws, CNC lathes, VTLs, HBMs, and CNC mills.

+ Must understand material hardness, cutting tools, speeds and feeds, coolant requirements and machining techniques.

+ Interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerances (GD&T) per part drawings.

**Summary**

We are looking for a BI Report Developer with MicroStrategy/Power BI experience. As a BI Developer, you will be part of the Pearson VUE Data Analytics team working on building and maintaining our cloud-based reporting system.
