As a Lead **Electrical Engineer,** you’ll have a passion for contributing to projects that enable the heart of our clients’ manufacturing. You’ll oversee designer work, provide team technical leadership, perform quality reviews of design packages, and assist directly with the more complex portions of the design process. You’ll also interact directly with the client, owner, and contractors to assist construction on site. You and the other members of your team will work closely with client owners in a fast paced, dynamic environment to establish design requirements and produce construction documents.

Your responsibilities will include engineering and design oversight for facility power distribution systems, grounding, lighting, and low voltage communications systems in some of the most complex industrial facilities on the planet. Design will also occasionally include retrofit of existing building systems to accommodate. With your solid understanding of all phases of construction document production and the relationship between drawings and specifications, you will prepare technical specifications and documents for bidding and construction and will be our Electrical discipline lead or Quality Control reviewer in project meetings. You will participate in project proposals and will suggest solutions to our clients to problems they didn’t even knew they had.

· Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy Engineering

· At least 6 years of Electrical Engineering experience

· Knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) & IEEE standards

· Experience with electrical power system equipment/components, such as Switchgears, transformers, panelboards, generators, UPS, etc.

· Effective verbal and written communication skills

In this role responsibilities include, although not limited to:

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Global Production Engineering Services (GPES) team has an immediate opening of Sr. Advanced Electrical Engineer. You will be responsible for creating avionics product design changes and providing avionics product design expertise to sustain and grow Honeywell’s Aerospace Technologies business.

You will report to Honeywell site in Phoenix, AZ and will collaborate daily with staff distributed globally at different product design centers and factories. The GPES team is focused on improving supply chain performance by maintaining and improving designs for a wide variety of avionics products currently in the manufacturing phase.

Key Responsibilities

+ Use advanced avionics knowledge and engineering discipline to complete engineering tasks

+ Provide design expertise to support multiple teams of other product design engineers, test design engineers, manufacturing engineers, and production staff to resolve issues with product design, modification, upgrades, customer investigations, supplier investigations, obsolescence, and test system design changes.

+ Support product transitions from development to manufacturing phases and gain design authority delegation.

We are hiring a Senior Telecom Network Engineer for the Missile Defense Agency’s Mission Voice Communications to support the Missile Defense Integration and Operations Center (MDIOC) on Schriever Air Force Base in Colorado. FTI provides range support services for ballistic and hypersonic test missions at DoD, NASA, and other agency ranges around the world. We cover mission planning, networks and systems engineering, telemetry, data and voice communications, logistics, and cybersecurity aspects of missile testing.

Responsibilities

This position will require that you support configuration, monitor, troubleshoot, maintain, and update voice and data communications systems to meet mission requirements. You must be available to travel up to 20% and maintain a valid US Passport, as well as possess a current DoD SECRET level security clearance. The position involves periodic paid STOT, up to 20%.

This position requires travel to land and sea-based locations including Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF) on Kauai HI, Reagan Test Site (RTS) on Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands, Wake Island, and MDA’s test support vessels the Pacific Collector and Pacific Tracker. Trip durations are dependent on customer test mission schedules which can change with short notice, normally lasting between 1 and 3 weeks. Total trips are dependent on MDA's T&E schedule averaging between 2 and 6, annually.

Responsibilities:

+ Perform maintenance and upgrade of voice networks (T1, VOIP, SIP trunking, POTS) to include servers, routers, switches, firewalls, remote access systems, and network management systems.

+ Maintain, monitor and troubleshoot network connectivity to ensure high quality voice and data transmission.

+ Provide technical support, as well as design support of technical solutions, project planning, and network project implementations to other departments with regards to mission voice services.

+ Serve as a liaison with vendors and other third-party providers.

+ Systems Administration running Windows and Linux operating systems.

+ Accomplish pre-mission communication checks and voice instrument configuration verification.

+ Perform equipment installs, configuration updates, and troubleshooting actions at remote sites.

+ Train voice circuit users on how to use equipment, instruments, IC panels, headsets etc.

Education/Qualifications

Required:

+ Active U.S. Dept. of DefenseSecretClearance (minimum).

+ Bachelor’s degree in an engineering related technical field and a minimum of 6 years' directly related experience.

+ ~OR~a High School diploma and a minimum of 10 years' directly related experience.

+ Current CompTIA Security+ or another qualifying DoD Directive 8570.01 IAT Level II certification.

+ Professional experience working in a CMS platform environment (working with CMS tools such as ServiceNow, Remedy, and/or Atlassian).

+ Able to work effectively in a high-paced, team environment, make recommendations, and garner consensus to implement ideas.

+ Able to support approximately 8-12+ total CONUS/OCONUS missions per year. Typical land and sea locations include:

+ MDIOC in CO, Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF) on Kauai HI, Reagan Test Site (RTS) on Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands, Wake Island, and MDA’s test support vessels the Pacific Collector and Pacific Tracker.

Preferred:

For this role, the compensation range for candidates in Colorado is $89K - $146k. Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience. **What You Will Do**

+ Provide technical advice and guidance for assigned electrical engineering projects.

+ Assist Senior Engineer in developing Electrical Engineering projects utilizing new technology to constantly upgrade and improve site safety, efficiencies, cost controls, quality controls and protection of the environment.

+ Review, investigate and develop appropriate recommendations regarding assigned Engineering projects

+ Manage small to medium site construction, expansion or modification projects, and assists the Senior Engineer on large/complex site planning/construction, expansion or modifications

+ Administer contracts with vendors for the provision of services and equipment

+ Develop working knowledge of local, state and federal regulations appropriate to area of assignment

+ Assist the Senior Engineer in contributing to site strategic planning and budgeting efforts for designated Engineering areas

**What You Bring To Freeport**

+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering discipline and three (3) years of related experience in Engineering, OR

+ Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering discipline and two (2) years of related experience in Engineering

+ Knowledge of the principles and practices of Electrical Engineering with an understanding of Mechanical and Process Engineering techniques

+ Ability to research and analyze information of considerable difficulty and draw valid conclusions
